Whether you spent the summer globetrotting or stuck closer to home (or something in between), it’s time to start thinking about fall … and here at the station we’re tuning up our airwaves for the fall semester, just for you.
We’ll be revamping our schedule over the coming weeks as we welcome back your favorite student DJs and News Team creators, plus welcoming a whole new crew of on-air volunteers this fall! If you’d like to be one of them, it’s easy and fun to get involved at Radio 1190 — keep an eye on our Volunteer page for the when and where of all our weekly volunteer meetings as we get started back up this fall, and be sure to follow us on Instagram for up-to-the-minute info on events, gatherings, Local Shakedown schedules, and more.
And if you’re a CU Boulder student, please come say hi Wednesday, Aug. 28 at the Be Involved Fair! We’ll have a table with info, top-notch swag, and friendly faces to tell you all about the station and how you can be a part of (in our humble opinion) the best thing on the entire Boulder campus. It’s from 2-6 p.m. on Farrand Field and we’ll be the ones beaming out the rays of awesomeness. See you there. <3
