1190 BPM is Radio 1190’s weekly mix show featuring DJ mixes from local and global artists. Want to submit your own mix to air across the Colorado front range and on our global stream? We’d love to hear it. Here’s what to know:
Submission guidelines
- All genres are welcome, but we’re especially interested in danceable, fully mixed music sets
- Total mix time must be exactly 58 minutes
- Music only, no talking — we’ll introduce you at the beginning of the show
- File must be submitted as a high-quality stereo MP3 (320 kbps, continuous bit rate), WAV, or FLAC
- Please include a brief artist bio (including social media handles and website, if you have them) that we can include in our show introduction
- IMPORTANT! Absolutely no swearing or explicit sexual content is permitted, since we are an FCC-regulated broadcast radio station. What does this mean? In addition to no sexual overtones or anything that would make your grandma squirm, you can’t use these words: shit, piss, ass (really), cunt, tits, fuck (or any variation), cock (or any variation).
